New Universal Therapy Mattress System
The Universal Therapy System is a low to medium-risk mattress designed for patients at risk of developing pressure ulcers or who already have stage 1, 2, 3, or 4 pressure ulcers. It includes an integrated, automated weight-sensing pump that provides alternating pressure and continuous minimal-pressure therapies to promote healing and avoid tissue damage. The mattress has a foam-in-air cell design with a removable foam layer that can be used for extra comfort or stored underneath the air cells, providing reliable protection in case of a power outage. This mattress also has a hand pendant for patient control, making it ideal for those living alone or with limited mobility.
