For longer rises — without the wider stance of a singlefold. The Suitcase Trifold AS folds into thirds instead of halves, so a 10-foot ramp packs down to roughly 40" wide and fits behind a sedan front seat or in an SUV cargo area without dominating the space. Same 800 lb capacity, same self-adjusting transition plates as the Singlefold AS, same lifetime-warrantied aluminum frame.
If you regularly cross 5- to 10-foot rises (longer driveways, multi-step porches, taller stair-runs), the Trifold is the right call — the singlefold version of those lengths is unwieldy to carry and store.

The Trifold's three-section design solves the awkward storage problem at 7-10 ft lengths. A 10 ft singlefold ramp folds to a 5 ft x 3 ft slab — too long to fit behind a passenger seat. The Trifold collapses to roughly 40 inches across all lengths, opening up storage options the Singlefold can't match.
Same 800 lb working load. Same SA pivot plates for stair-edge landings. Same applied slip-resistant tread surface. The trade-off is two extra hinges, which add about 8% weight per foot vs the equivalent Singlefold AS — usually worth it for the storage gain at 7+ ft.

Shipping & Delivery
Free curbside delivery in the continental US. The 5-7 ft lengths ship UPS Ground (1-2 business days warehouse, 5-10 in transit). The 8 ft and 10 ft lengths require LTL freight with an adult signature on delivery.
For 10 ft orders we strongly recommend Inside Delivery upgrade ($50-120 depending on zip code) — call to add it.
Returns
Returns. Return requests must be made within 14 calendar days of delivery and need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) first. Items must be unused, unassembled and in like-new condition with their original packaging; the customer pays return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Full return policy
Warranty
Lifetime Warranty (frame)
EZ-ACCESS lifetime warranty on the aluminum frame for the original purchaser. Hinges, hardware, and tread surface covered for 1 year. The 8 ft and 10 ft lengths are intended for occasional residential use; sustained heavy commercial loading may shorten tread life and is excluded from warranty.

The Suitcase Trifold AS Ramp (with Adjustable Steps) is rated for 800 lb working load. This covers the rider plus the device they're rolling. Stay below 90% of the rated capacity for safety on regular use.
ADA recommends a 1:12 slope (12 inches of ramp per inch of rise). For independent wheelchair use, 1:12 is the safety minimum. For caregiver-pushed transfers, 1:8 to 1:10 is workable. Measure the rise (height of step or threshold) and multiply by 8-12 to size your ramp length.
Most portable ramps fold to roughly 12-15" wide once collapsed, which fits through standard 32-36" doorways with room to spare. Verify the folded dimensions in the spec table for your length choice.
Yes — aluminum ramps don't rust and the slip-resistant tread handles rain, snow, and freeze/thaw cycles. For coastal salt-air environments, occasionally rinse the frame with fresh water to prevent salt buildup. Lifetime warranty covers frame integrity.
Most EZ-ACCESS ramps include holes for optional concrete anchors (sold separately). For permanent installs, anchor the bottom to a concrete pad and the top to the threshold. For temporary use, the slip-resistant rubber base pads keep it stable on most surfaces without anchoring.

Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
