Choosing the right replacement battery

Match three things before you order: the equipment model (every battery here names the scooter, power chair, lift or lift chair it is sold for), the chemistry (lithium packs for travel scooters and folding power chairs, sealed AGM pairs for full-size scooters, 24 V packs for BestCare patient lifts) and the capacity in amp-hours. A higher Ah pack of the same type gives more range; the manufacturer's stated range for each pack is on its product page.

Air travel: only batteries whose title says TSA or flight-safe are sold for airline use, and the airline still sets its own watt-hour limit. Where a manufacturer offers both a travel pack and a long-range pack, the long-range pack is usually not airline-approved.
