Matching a charger to your battery

A charger must match the battery's voltage and chemistry, and its plug must match the port on your equipment. Most Pride, Golden and Enhance Mobility scooters and power chairs use a 24 V XLR port; lithium packs need a lithium-specific charger, and sealed AGM packs need an AGM charger. Each listing names the equipment it is sold for, and the product page gives the output rating.

This collection also includes docking stations and charger cradles for Golden Buzzaround and Enhance Mobility folding scooters, BestCare charger units for lift control boxes, and USB charging ports that fit Pride scooters and Jazzy power chairs. If your charger is not listed, search the parts finder or contact us with the model and the label on your existing charger.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use any 24 V charger on my scooter?
No. The charger must match the battery chemistry (lithium or AGM) and the plug type. Using the wrong charger can damage the battery and voids most manufacturer warranties.
How do I know which charger my model shipped with?
The output voltage and current are printed on the label of the original charger; the owner's manual also lists them. Send us that label with your model and we will confirm the replacement.
Do you sell USB charging ports?
Yes. Pride's XLR USB and USB-C charging ports plug into the tiller charging port on Pride scooters and Jazzy power chairs.
