It is a large TV-style tray table that gives you a steady surface to eat, work, read, or game from your couch, chair, recliner, or lift chair. The curved arm pivots and the tray swivels a full 360 degrees, and it includes a built-in cup holder and utensil tray. A sturdy standing handle, rated to 250 lbs, also gives you something solid to hold as you sit down or stand up.
The tray adjusts in height from 22 to 32 inches, and the base spreads to fit four-legged furniture with legs spaced 17 to 33 inches apart, so it works with most couches, chairs, recliners, and lift chairs. The tray surface measures 20 by 15 inches and holds up to 15 lbs. Note that it is designed for seating and is not intended for use on a bed.
There is no bulky floor stand to position. The base pads simply tuck under your furniture's front and rear legs, and the tray extends in height and depth to reach you. The unit is made of steel and MDF with an Ash Gray tray and weighs about 23 lbs, so it stays in place once positioned.
