The tray includes a patent-pending "lock/lock-out" key that gives the caregiver control. Using the key, a caregiver can lock the tray in position, or lock it out when it shouldn't be moved — so you have the flexibility to set it up the way that suits the person using the chair.

When you don't need it, the tray stores easily at the back of the chair. It stays right there with the chair and out of the way, ready to bring back into place whenever you'd like it again — there's no separate piece to store or set down.

The polypropylene surface is simple to wipe down with a damp cloth between uses, so it stays ready for the next meal or activity.
