From recliner to standing — at the touch of a button. The Pride Genesis LC-150 is a traditional 3-position power lift recliner. A single smooth motion moves the chair through three positions — upright sitting, a comfortable TV/reading recline, and a full reclined chaise — with the back and chaise footrest moving in tandem. When you’re ready to stand, the chair gently tilts forward to lift you toward a standing position, taking the strain out of getting up.

As a 3-position recliner, the Genesis moves through three preset positions — upright sitting, TV/reading recline, and a full reclined chaise — with the back and chaise footrest moving in tandem on a single mechanism. Buyers who need a true infinite-position chair like the Pride VivaLift, which reclines further and moves the back and legs separately, should step up to that line instead.
Lift-to-stand is smoother on the Genesis than on cheaper lift chairs because the chair’s tilt arc is engineered to keep your weight over the chair frame instead of pitching you forward at the end. The result is a more confident exit — especially for users who’ve fallen during transfers in the past.
Padding and upholstery are durable, not luxurious. Standard Heritage fabrics are polyester blends rated for daily 8+ hour use. Leather is available as an upgrade if your home decor requires it. Shipping & Delivery
The Pride Genesis ships free with curbside LTL freight delivery to any address in the continental United States. Most orders ship within 3-7 business days (built-to-order in your selected fabric color) and arrive within 10-14 business days from order date.
Three delivery options
- Free Curbside Freight — included with every order. Chair ships in a single carton (~100 lb shipped weight). Carrier delivers to your driveway or curb. You'll need an adult to sign and at least two people (recommended) to bring it inside.
- Inside Delivery — additional fee, useful for apartments or anyone without help to move a 100 lb carton. Call (803) 926-1493 for pricing.
- White Glove Delivery — strongly recommended for first-time lift chair buyers. Includes full uncrating in the room of your choice, setup, demonstration on the lift mechanism and hand wand, and packaging removal. Best for the elderly, those without help, or anyone who wants a worry-free start. Call for pricing.
Built-to-order lead time
The Genesis is built in your selected fabric color. Standard Heritage fabrics ship in 3-5 business days; specialty Sophie patterns may add 2-5 days. We confirm your specific lead time the day after order placement.
