It depends on the size you choose. The four standard sizes — Petite/Small, Medium, Large and Tall — are each rated for up to 400 lb. If you need more room and more support, the two wide sizes go higher: Medium/Wide is built for 500 lb and Large/Wide for 600 lb. Picking the size that matches your height and frame gives you the right seat and the right capacity together.

The PR-535 comes in six sizes across Golden's Small-to-Tall range, so you can match the chair to you instead of settling for a one-size guess. Petite/Small fits 5'0"–5'3", Medium fits 5'3"–5'7", Large fits 5'7"–6'0", and Tall fits 6'0"–6'4". The two wide sizes add hip room: Medium/Wide suits 5'5"–5'10" and Large/Wide suits 5'10"–6'2". This is an infinite-position recliner with Golden's patented MaxiComfort positioning and Comfort Zone 2 control, so you can recline to any angle you like rather than settle for a few fixed stops. The AutoDrive programmable hand control lets you save the positions you use most and return to them with one touch. You sit on a pocketed coil spring seat wrapped in soft Easy Living chenille, offered in five stain-defense colors. You can also add the Deluxe Therapeutic Heat & Vibration Massage upgrade or move up to Brisa performance fabric — just ask when you order (HeatWave and Nirvana are not offered on this model).

Yes. The PR-535 includes battery backup, so if the power goes out the lift can still raise you up and out of the chair. It's there for exactly that situation, so it's a good idea to keep a fresh battery installed.

Every PR-535 ships with free curbside delivery, and inside or white-glove delivery upgrades are available if you'd like it brought in and set up for you. The chair is made in the USA and backed by Golden's warranty: lifetime coverage on the frame and lift mechanism, three years on electrical parts, and one year on electrical labor.
