This chair uses Golden's patented Twilight Tilt Technology with a 5-zone comfort positioning system (five independent motors). Twilight Tilt elevates your feet above the heart for circulation; the five comfort zones — head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, footrest — adjust independently via the exclusive AutoDrive programmable hand control, with a USB charging port for your phone.

The PR527 is built around Golden's 5-Zone Twilight positioning system. Five independent actuators control the head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, and footrest — letting you stop the recline at any angle, including the Twilight position (legs above the heart) for circulation benefits.
Standard upholstery is the Ashton fabric line; Golden's premium Brisa line is available as an upgrade. The AutoDrive™ hand control supports programmable favorite positions. Battery backup keeps the chair functional during a power outage (chair returns upright safely).

The PR527 is built in the USA and ships in your selected fabric. Standard Ashton colors include Ink, Sand, Slate, Spa, Stone — Golden's signature soft-touch with stain-resistant coating, included at no extra charge.
For an upgraded look and feel, choose any color from the Brisa performance fabric line (+$719). Brisa is breathable, antimicrobial, and easy to clean — popular for daily-use chairs in households with pets or caregivers.

Shipping & Delivery
The PR527 ships free with curbside LTL freight delivery to any address in the continental United States. Orders in a standard in-stock fabric ship within 3-7 business days and arrive within 10-14 business days. Every other fabric, including all Brisa and Cross Over upgrades, is built to order on a 6-8 week lead time. Add 30-45 days if you select a wellness upgrade (Heat & Vibrate, HeatWave, or Nirvana).
Three delivery options
- Free Curbside Freight — included. Carrier delivers to your driveway or curb. Adult signature required; two people recommended to bring inside.
- Inside Delivery — additional fee. Carrier brings the carton across your front threshold.
- White Glove Delivery — strongly recommended for first-time lift chair buyers. Includes uncrating, setup, demo on the lift mechanism and AutoDrive hand control, and packaging removal. Call for pricing.
Lift chairs are non-returnable

Lift chairs are custom-built to your fabric and option choices — allow 30–45 days for made-to-order builds. Fabrics marked “In-Stock Program” are part of Golden’s stocked upholstery program.

The PR527 Cloud is rated for a 400 lb weight capacity in both of its sizes. It comes in two hybrid sizes so you can match your height: Small/Med fits users about 5'2" to 5'8" (seat 23.5" wide x 20.5" deep), and Med/Large fits about 5'8" to 6'0" (seat 23.5" wide x 22.5" deep). Both share the same Twilight 5-zone positioning and AutoDrive hand control - the seat depth and overall height change with size. Yes. Heat and massage are optional paid upgrades that ship pre-installed in the chair. You can choose Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage, HeatWave Far-Infrared Heat Therapy, or the Nirvana Swedish Air Massage with Far-Infrared Heat. Because these are built into the chair at the factory, selecting a wellness upgrade adds about 30-45 days to the build time. You select your option in the Add-Ons panel above the buy button.
The PR527 includes a lithium-ion battery backup system. If the power goes out while you're reclined, the backup lets the chair return to the upright position so you can get up safely. The battery is installed and ready to use; the chair otherwise plugs into any standard 110V wall outlet.
