The Golden PR-527 Cloud Elite combines Golden Technologies' plush Cloud seating with its advanced 5-Zone Comfort System, patented Twilight Tilt, and MaxiComfort positioning. Available in Small/Medium and Medium/Large, the PR-527 supports up to 400 lb and is built in the USA.
The overstuffed seam-style back and contoured seat are designed for long-term comfort, while the five independently adjustable comfort zones let you fine-tune the chair for sitting, reclining, resting, and lift-to-stand assistance.

5-Zone Comfort and Positioning
The PR-527's 5-Zone Comfort System allows the headrest, lumbar, backrest, seat, and footrest to be adjusted independently. This gives you substantially more control than a conventional lift recliner with only basic recline and footrest movement.
Golden's Twilight Tilt and MaxiComfort systems expand the available positioning range. Golden describes Twilight positioning as allowing the feet to be elevated above the heart and describes MaxiComfort positioning as helping redistribute pressure across the body. Positioning needs vary by person; customers purchasing for a specific medical need should follow guidance from their healthcare professional.

Golden Technologies' luxury upholstery option — described by Golden as the world's first breathable polyurethane fabric. It offers the refined look of leather in a soft, breathable, temperate material that won't stick to you or feel too hot or cold.
Brisa is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and disinfect, and tested to 300,000 double rubs for durability. Golden backs Brisa fabrics with a Lifetime Warranty covering original defects in materials and workmanship (per Golden's warranty terms).
The PR527 is built around Golden's 5-Zone Twilight positioning system. Five independent actuators control the head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, and footrest — letting you stop the recline at any angle, including the Twilight position (legs above the heart) for circulation benefits.
Standard upholstery is the Ashton fabric line; Golden's premium Brisa line is available as an upgrade. The AutoDrive™ hand control supports programmable favorite positions. Battery backup keeps the chair functional during a power outage (chair returns upright safely).

The PR527 is built in the USA and ships in your selected fabric. Standard Ashton colors include Ink, Sand, Slate, Spa, Stone — Golden's signature soft-touch with stain-resistant coating, included at no extra charge.
For an upgraded look and feel, choose any color from the Brisa performance fabric line (+$719). Brisa is breathable, antimicrobial, and easy to clean — popular for daily-use chairs in households with pets or caregivers.

Shipping & Delivery
The PR527 ships free with curbside LTL freight delivery to any address in the continental United States. Orders in a standard in-stock fabric ship within 3-7 business days and arrive within 10-14 business days. Every other fabric, including all Brisa and Cross Over upgrades, is built to order on a 6-8 week lead time. Wellness upgrades (Heat & Vibrate, HeatWave, or Nirvana) can add up to 30-45 days.
Three delivery options
- Free Curbside Freight — included. Carrier delivers to your driveway or curb. Adult signature required; two people recommended to bring inside.
- Inside Delivery — additional fee. The carrier brings the boxed item inside at ground level where there are no steps (zero threshold), for example into your garage or through a step-free front door. It is not unpacked or set up; choose White Glove for that.
- White Glove Delivery — strongly recommended for first-time lift chair buyers. Includes uncrating, setup, demo on the lift mechanism and AutoDrive hand control, and packaging removal. Call for pricing.
Lift chairs are non-returnable

FAQ
The PR527 Cloud is rated for a 400 lb weight capacity in both of its sizes. It comes in two hybrid sizes so you can match your height: Small/Med fits users about 5'2" to 5'8" (seat 23.5" wide x 20.5" deep), and Med/Large fits about 5'8" to 6'0" (seat 23.5" wide x 22.5" deep). Both share the same Twilight 5-zone positioning and AutoDrive hand control - the seat depth and overall height change with size. The Cloud uses Golden's patented Twilight Tilt Technology with a 5-Zone Comfort positioning system - five independent motors that adjust your head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, and footrest separately. Unlike typical 2- or 3-position lift chairs, you can stop the recline at any angle, including the Twilight position that elevates your feet above your heart. The programmable AutoDrive hand control lets you save favorite positions such as reading, TV, nap, and lift, and it includes a USB charging port for your phone.
Yes. Heat and massage are optional paid upgrades that ship pre-installed in the chair. You can choose Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage, HeatWave Far-Infrared Heat Therapy, or the Nirvana Swedish Air Massage with Far-Infrared Heat. Because these are built into the chair at the factory, selecting a wellness upgrade adds about 30-45 days to the build time. You select your option in the Add-Ons panel above the buy button.
The PR527 includes a lithium-ion battery backup system. If the power goes out while you're reclined, the backup lets the chair return to the upright position so you can get up safely. The battery is installed and ready to use; the chair otherwise plugs into any standard 110V wall outlet.
Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product.
