- Inspect it on arrival. If a shipment is severely damaged, refuse it, and report damage or a wrong item within 48 hours.

As the original power lift recliner in Golden's line, the PR-766 pairs a smooth power lift with the brand's patented MaxiComfort® Ultimate Recline Technology. A single hand control raises you toward standing, then moves you from upright to fully reclined and anywhere in between. It is made in the USA, carries a 400 lb weight capacity across all three sizes, and fits users from 5'1" to 6'2".

Golden Technologies' luxury upholstery option — described by Golden as the world's first breathable polyurethane fabric. It offers the refined look of leather in a soft, breathable, temperate material that won't stick to you or feel too hot or cold.
Brisa is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and disinfect, and tested to 300,000 double rubs for durability. Golden backs Brisa fabrics with a Lifetime Warranty covering original defects in materials and workmanship (per Golden's warranty terms).

The PR-766 Relaxer supports up to 400 lb, and that capacity holds across all three of its sizes. It's built to fit users from 5'1" to 6'2", and Golden matches each size to your height range — roughly under 5'3", 5'4" to 5'10", and 5'11" to 6'2" — so you can choose the frame that positions you best. The PR-766 uses Golden's patented MaxiComfort® positioning with Comfort Zone 2 and AutoDrive™ 3.0, so the back and leg motors work together and one programmable hand control moves you from upright to fully reclined — and anywhere in between, thanks to Infinite Position recline. You can add the deluxe therapeutic heat and vibration massage upgrade if you'd like. The seat features a three-pillow waterfall back, super plush rounded armrests, and a pocketed coil spring seat with an extra-wide chaise pad. Note that the HeatWave option isn't offered on this model.
The PR-766 comes with a battery backup, so a power outage won't leave you stuck. If the electricity cuts out, the chair can still bring you from a reclined position back up toward standing.
The PR-766 is made in the USA and backed by Golden's manufacturer warranty: a lifetime warranty on the frame and lift mechanism, 3 years on electrical parts, and 1 year on electrical labor.
Every PR-766 ships with free curbside delivery, where it's brought to your curb or driveway. If you'd prefer it carried inside and set up for you, ask our team about upgraded delivery options when you place your order — call us.
Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product. Several categories — including lift chairs, power chairs (if used), mobility scooters (unless otherwise stated), patient lifts, replacement parts & batteries, and certain personal-care items — are generally non-returnable once shipped, and eligible returns may carry restocking and freight charges.
