The Golden Technologies PR517 Cloud 4 Zone is a MaxiComfort infinite-position power lift recliner with a 400 lb weight capacity, classified as a Class II Medical Device.
The Golden PR-517 Cloud 4-Zone is the same core Cloud frame as the PR-510 Cloud and PR-515 Cloud with Twilight — but with four motors instead of two, adding power headrest and power lumbar on top of the standard Cloud’s back-and-leg recline. No Twilight technology — this is the chair for customers who want the deluxe headrest/lumbar control without the feet-above-heart wellness tilt.

Golden Technologies' luxury upholstery option — described by Golden as the world's first breathable polyurethane fabric. It offers the refined look of leather in a soft, breathable, temperate material that won't stick to you or feel too hot or cold.
Brisa is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and disinfect, and tested to 300,000 double rubs for durability. Golden backs Brisa fabrics with a Lifetime Warranty covering original defects in materials and workmanship (per Golden's warranty terms).

Shipping & Delivery
We offer tiered delivery for this product within the continental United States. Choose your tier and see current pricing in the Customize & Buy panel:
- Free Curbside Delivery — delivered to your driveway or doorstep at no cost. You are responsible for moving the product inside.
- Inside Delivery — product is brought across the threshold of your front entrance.
- White Glove Delivery — full setup in the room of your choice, assembly, product demonstration, and packing removal.
Most in-stock items ship within 3–6 business days; freight transit then typically adds about 1–2 weeks. Custom-built orders take longer (see the hero card above). Delivery appointments can be requested at no charge when you place your order.
Lift chairs are custom-built to your fabric and option choices — allow 30–45 days for made-to-order builds. Fabrics marked “In-Stock Program” are part of Golden’s stocked upholstery program.

The PR-517 Cloud 4-Zone supports users up to 400 lb. It comes in a single Medium/Large (MLA) size built for people approximately 5'5" to 6'0" tall, with a 20" seat width and a 21.5" seat depth. If you fall outside that height range, give us a call and we can help you find a Cloud recliner in a size that fits you better.
This is an infinite-position MaxiComfort chair with four independent motors, so you can power the headrest, lumbar, backrest, and footrest separately to fine-tune your position. A programmable AutoDrive hand control lets you save your favorite settings, and the chaise seat with biscuit back gives you continuous support from head to toe. It reclines back to a relaxed, near-flat position for napping. Note that the PR-517 does not include the Twilight feet-above-heart tilt or a USB charging port — if you'd like those, ask us about the PR-515 Cloud.
Yes. Heat and massage aren't built into the base chair, but you can add them as an upgrade — for example a Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage package or HeatWave Infrared heat. Just call us and we'll build your chair with the option you want.
The PR-517 includes a lithium battery backup, so if the power goes out you can still operate the chair to return to a seated or standing position rather than being left reclined. It means a power interruption won't leave you stuck in the chair.
The PR-517 carries Golden's warranty: lifetime coverage on the frame and lift mechanism, 3 years on electrical parts, and 1 year on electrical labor. For delivery you can choose Inside Delivery or White Glove Delivery (full in-room setup), and an optional No Worries 1-Year In-Home Service Contract is available. Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us at (803) 926-1493 if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product. Several categories — including lift chairs, power chairs, mobility scooters, and certain personal-care items — are non-returnable or subject to restocking and freight charges.
