5-Zone Twilight positioning + AutoDrive™ hand control
This chair uses Golden's patented Twilight Tilt Technology with a 5-zone comfort positioning system (five independent motors). Twilight Tilt elevates your feet above the heart for circulation; the five comfort zones — head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, footrest — adjust independently via the exclusive AutoDrive™ programmable hand control, with a USB charging port for your phone.

The PR447 is built in China and ships in your selected fabric from the Ashton line. Choose your color from the swatch grid above. Cross-fabric upgrades are not available on this model.

Shipping & Delivery
The PR447 ships free with curbside LTL freight delivery to any address in the continental United States. Orders in a standard in-stock fabric ship within 3-7 business days and arrive within 10-14 business days. Every other fabric, including all Brisa and Cross Over upgrades, is built to order on a 6-8 week lead time. Nirvana Swedish Air Massage with HeatWave heat is built in as standard, so there is no wellness upgrade to add and no extra build time.
Three delivery options
- Free Curbside Freight — included. Carrier delivers to your driveway or curb. Adult signature required; two people recommended to bring inside.
- Inside Delivery — additional fee. Carrier brings the carton across your front threshold.
- White Glove Delivery — strongly recommended for first-time lift chair buyers. Includes uncrating, setup, demo on the lift mechanism and AutoDrive hand control, and packaging removal. Call for pricing.
Lift chairs are non-returnable

Lift chairs are custom-built to your fabric and option choices — allow 30–45 days for made-to-order builds. Fabrics marked “In-Stock Program” are part of Golden’s stocked upholstery program.

The Golden PR447 Rhea is rated for a 400 lb weight capacity in both the Medium and Large sizes. You choose your size by height and seat fit: the Medium fits users roughly 5'4" to 5'10" with a 22"-wide by 21"-deep seat, and the Large fits roughly 5'10" to 6'4" with a 24"-wide by 22"-deep seat. Nirvana Swedish Air Massage with HeatWave Far-Infrared heat is included as standard equipment on the PR447 — there is no upgrade to add.
Yes. The PR447 ships with a lithium-ion battery backup already installed. If the power goes out while you're reclined, the backup lets the chair return to the upright position safely so you can get up. The rest of the chair's functions run off a standard 110V wall outlet.
The PR447 is backed by Golden Technologies' limited warranty, serviced through their authorized dealer network including Affordable Medical USA. For the original purchaser, coverage is lifetime on the frame, welds, and the lift-and-recline mechanism; 3 years on the electronics and hand control (and mechanical labor); 1 year on electrical labor and standard upholstery; and 30 days on cosmetic and wear items.
