The Elara is rated for a 400 lb weight capacity, and that rating holds true across both of its sizes. It is a 3-position power lift recliner built as a Class II Medical Device, so both frames are engineered to the same 400 lb limit.

Both sizes carry the same 400 lb capacity, so you can choose based on your height and how the seat feels. The two frames are designed to fit users roughly 5'1" to 6'2", and both share a 21" seat depth. The Elara is a 3-position lift recliner: a single motor moves you through three positions, from fully upright — which helps ease you toward standing — back to a laid-back recline, all from a soft-feel hand control. It has a plush seamed back, a chaise pad, and an Easy Grip armrest, with a soft-to-medium seating feel. The chair also includes a USB charging port so you can keep your phone within reach. This model is a straightforward 3-position chair and does not include heat or massage.

The Elara includes a battery backup, so the chair can still operate during a power outage — letting you lower yourself out of a reclined or lifted position. It is a good idea to keep the backup battery in working order.
