Lightweight carbon-fiber power with front suspension. Pride Mobility's Jazzy Carbon 27 is a folding power wheelchair designed for everyday mobility and easier transport. It weighs 27.8 lb without its battery, supports up to 300 lb, and has a manufacturer-rated maximum range of up to 9.3 miles per charge.

The lightweight carbon-fiber frame and front suspension help make the chair manageable for daily travel. Pride lists flip-up carbon-fiber arms, an LCD joystick with USB-C port and puddle light, a removable cushion, and an adjustable lap belt. Seat dimensions and turning clearance should be checked against your home and vehicle before purchase.

The chair folds for loading and storage. Check the folded dimensions against your car trunk or storage area and consider your own lifting needs. Do not assume the folded chair will fit an aircraft overhead bin. Airlines have separate procedures for mobility devices.

Battery and airline travel

The standard 12Ah lithium battery is identified by Pride as airline compliant. Transportation is nevertheless subject to federal rules and the individual airline's approval. Contact your airline in advance regarding battery handling, mobility-device storage, and boarding arrangements.

What's included and replacement accessories

Pride lists a mesh cup holder as standard equipment, alongside the cushion and adjustable lap belt. The Carbon 27 Headrest / Attendant Controller Kit is a separate optional accessory, manufacturer part ACC2506774. For a replacement cup holder, mounting knob, or controller bracket, contact Affordable Medical USA with the exact model and serial number: similar-looking Jazzy Carbon chairs can require different assemblies. The original Jazzy Carbon, Carbon 27, Carbon 27X, Carbon HD, and Jazzy Ultra Light should not be treated as accessory-interchangeable by default.

The Jazzy Carbon 27 ships free with curbside delivery to any address in the continental United States. Orders typically leave the warehouse within 2-3 business days and arrive within 7-14 business days.

Three delivery options

  • Free Curbside Drop Shipping — included with every order. The carrier delivers the boxed chair to your driveway, doorstep, or curb. The package weighs approximately 75 lb shipped (chair + battery + carton), designed to be lifted by one person with care.
  • Inside Delivery — for an additional fee, the carrier brings the boxed item inside at ground level where there are no steps (zero threshold), for example into your garage or through a step-free front door. It is not unpacked or set up; choose Premium Delivery for that. Useful if you'd rather not move the box in yourself. Call (803) 926-1493 for pricing on your zip code.
  • Premium Delivery — full-service uncrating in the room of your choice, set up, demonstrated, and packaging removed. Best for first-time owners. Call for premium-delivery pricing.

Color lead time

The Carbon 27 is built-to-order. Night Sky color typically ships in 1-2 weeks; Black Cherry typically ships in 2-3 weeks. We'll confirm your specific lead time the day after you place your order.

Based on Pride's published Jazzy Carbon 27 specifications: 5-year limited frame warranty, 1-year limited warranty for electronics and drivetrain, and 1-year limited battery warranty. Coverage, exclusions, claim procedures and start dates are controlled by the official warranty supplied by Pride; these summary periods do not replace the warranty document.
