The UpWalker CardioAccelerator’s frame is made from aluminum alloy and other quality materials including composite plastic and polyurethane. Many of these materials are used in the automobile and aircraft industries.
Most importantly, the CardioAccelerator is designed to fit you, with adjustable armrests. The CardioAccelerator's adjustable armrests accommodate users as short as 4'9" and as tall as 5'11". Also, the adjustable armrests come with a "height memory stop" clamp, which makes it easier to adjust the armrest to the same height every time.

The CardioAccelerator looks complicated. Is it easy to use?
Your CardioAccelerator is designed with your convenience in mind. It comes with with an easy-to-follow User Guide. Once you have attached the optional resistance dampers (see page 7 of the User Guide) and made a few initial adjustments (designed to personalize the CardioAccelerator to your user preferences), your CardioAccelerator is ready to use for walking or sitting. However it should be noted, the CardioAccelerator is larger and heavier than traditional walkers and may not be suitable for more petite or more frail users or others lacking the strength to manuever a larger mobility device.
Is any assembly required?
Your CardioAccelerator comes out of the box ready to go, with the exception of the optional resistance dampers. Your CardioAccelerator comes with the tool for this purpose, along with an easy-to-follow User Guide. Once removed from the box and adjusted to your personal needs, your CardioAccelerator is ready to go.
Does the CardioAccelerator include a seat?
Yes, Your CardioAccelerator comes with fabric seat that slides front to back for sitting or walking with long strides. The CardioAccelerator also comes with a comfortable backrest for added support when seated.
Does the CardioAccelerator include a bag or basket?
Yes, the CardioAccelerator comes standard with a Personal Item Bag that attaches to the front of the frame for added storage. You can also purchase additional storage options, such as the Luxury Personal Item bag (with zipper-close top and side pockets with air vents) and a Shopping Bag, a larger bag with carry handles for shopping.
