Overview
Travel bundle: the Freewheel Kit plus the 288 Wh Flight-safe Battery, for airports and flights with the ev¹.
The Air Travel Kit brings together the two Strutt ev¹ travel accessories in one bundle at Strutt's kit price:
- Freewheel Kit — lifts the front wheels so the ev¹ can be pushed manually with minimal friction; quick-snap, tool-free, for airports and transit zones where powered driving is restricted.
- Flight-safe Battery (288 Wh) — the ev¹'s travel pack, sized under the 300 Wh threshold that applies to mobility-device batteries. With it fitted, Speed Level S (8 mph) is not supported.
Airline policies and approval procedures vary by carrier, route and destination — contact your airline before travelling to confirm its requirements and provide any requested battery documentation in advance. The 640 Wh long-range battery included with the ev¹ is not a flight battery.
Both components are also sold separately: Freewheel Kit and Flight-safe Battery.
Available to order. Strutt expects accessory shipments to begin in October 2026, filled in the order purchases are received and arriving separately from the ev¹ itself.
