What happens after you order
- Order received. Your options and delivery choice are saved with the order, and you get an order confirmation by email.
- Shipped. This product ships from the manufacturer or by freight carrier. Carrier transit time does not include order processing or manufacturer lead time.
- Delivery is scheduled with you. The freight delivery agent contacts you directly to set an appointment; freight transit is typically one to two weeks after dispatch.
- Delivered the way you chose. Free curbside (lift-gate) delivery is included. Optional upgrades offered on this product: Amigo White Glove Delivery.
- Inspect it on arrival. If a shipment is severely damaged, refuse it, and report damage or a wrong item within 48 hours.
- Changed your mind before it ships? An order can be canceled before it ships; special-order and custom-built products cannot be canceled once production has begun.

Amigo Shabbat 3-wheel scooter
The Amigo Shabbat is the world's first and only Halachically approved scooter for people with walking limitations or people on the go. The Shabbat 3-wheel mobility scooter by Amigo is built in the U.S.A. It was originally designed to help those who want to honor the Sabbath. Amigo manufacturing worked with Zomet Institute in Israel to create this one-of-a-kind Amigo and every Amigo can be switched to Shabbat via a toggle switch. Zomet Institute approves, inspects, and certifies every Amigo Shabbat scooter.
The Amigo Shabbat allows you to use your Amigo while fulfilling the no work requirement during Shabbat. The easy-to-use controller on the tiller is modified to satisfy Shabbat requirements. The scooter can be used with normal controls but can be used in the Shabbat mode by pulling out the switch and moving it to the Shabbat position. Turn the key to the on position and after 10 seconds you will see a red light and you can operate your amigo while observing the Sabbath.
The Shabbat Option can also be added to the RT Express, Amigo RD and Amigo HD.

Free Curbside Delivery- Standard delivery to the curb. The freight company will call you directly to schedule a delivery time.
Inside Delivery- Delivered by a freight carrier and brought inside your home on ground level only. The Carrier will call you directly to schedule a delivery time.
White Glove Delivery- is our premium delivery services (could add 7-10 Business days to your order) a schedule appointment will be made, and the scooter will be delivered to you. We will unpack your product and inspect for shipping damage, set up the product, install any accessories you ordered, provide a product demonstration and remove all packaging materials.

Yes. Each Shabbat Amigo scooter is individually inspected and certified under the manufacturer's current Sabbath-mode certification process (Zomet Institute). Confirmation is provided with the unit.
Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product. Several categories — including lift chairs, power chairs (if used), mobility scooters (unless otherwise stated), patient lifts, replacement parts & batteries, and certain personal-care items — are generally non-returnable once shipped, and eligible returns may carry restocking and freight charges.
