The BestCare Universal Sling is a high-quality patient lift sling designed for safe, comfortable transfers. Made with durable, easy-to-clean materials for long-lasting use in home healthcare and clinical settings.
Head support changes how this sling attaches. Per the BestCare Sling Hook Up Guide, the version without head support is a 6-strap sling and the version with head support is an 8-strap sling, and the two use different hook-up procedures. Follow the procedure for the configuration you own.
Sizing guide (manufacturer best-fit — not capacity)
- Small: best fits 85–140 lb
- Medium: best fits 140–200 lb
- Large: best fits 200–450 lb
- XXL: best fits 400–600 lb
Best-fit range and maximum sling capacity are different measurements. Verify the selected sling, patient measurements, lift and spreader-bar compatibility before use.

Returns. Return requests must be made within 14 calendar days of delivery and need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) first. Items must be unused, unassembled and in like-new condition with their original packaging; the customer pays return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Full return policy

FAQ
“Universal” describes this sling’s design, not universal lift fit. It attaches to BestCare floor/patient lifts with a 2-point or 6-point spreader bar; it is NOT compatible with sit-to-stand (BestStand SA) lifts. Sling compatibility depends on the lift model, attachment system and intended transfer type — confirm the compatible models before ordering.
Slings are sized by user weight (S/M/L/XL) plus body type (full-body, U-shape, divided-leg, etc.). The user's weight should fall in the middle of the size range for the best fit. Call us with the user's weight and the transfers being performed; we'll recommend the right size and style.
Inspect slings before every use for fraying straps, loose stitching, or tears in the fabric. Cloth slings typically last 6-18 months under daily use; mesh and nylon last longer. Replace immediately if you see any wear that affects load-bearing seams or hooks.

Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product. Several categories — including lift chairs, power chairs (if used), mobility scooters (unless otherwise stated), patient lifts, replacement parts & batteries, and certain personal-care items — are generally non-returnable once shipped, and eligible returns may carry restocking and freight charges.
