It is a Stander floor-to-ceiling support pole. It gives you a firm, stable handhold to hold onto as you sit down or stand up, and it can be placed anywhere in your home where you'd like a little extra support — next to a chair, the bed, or in a hallway.
It adjusts to fit both flat and vaulted (slanted) ceilings from 7 to 10 feet tall. If your ceilings are higher, an extension is available to fit 10- to 12-foot ceilings.
No drilling is required. The pole is tension-mounted, held securely in place by pressure between your floor and ceiling, so there are no holes to patch. At about 19 lbs it can be taken down and repositioned to another room whenever your needs change.
