Product Details
Ride in the rain, wind, sun or snow with a folding canopy that opens in about 30 seconds and folds away behind the seat when the sky clears.
The Scooterpac Canopy is a universal folding weather canopy for mobility scooters. A powder-coated aircraft-grade aluminium frame carries a water-repellent nylon cover with a shatter-resistant Perspex front windscreen, zip-open side doors and integrated side windows, so you stay dry and visible without giving up access to your tiller and controls. When you don’t need it, the whole canopy folds back behind the seat into its stretch cover.
Two sizes
- Standard — 47.2 in. high × 45.2 in. long × 23.6 in. wide when open; 12 kg (about 26.5 lb).
- XL — 47.2 in. high × 50.4 in. long × 23.6 in. wide when open, for longer scooters; 13 kg (about 28.7 lb).
Will it fit my scooter?
The Scooterpac Canopy is designed to fit a wide range of mobility scooters, and the two sizes cover most compact through full-size models. Mounting and receiver compatibility still needs to be confirmed for your specific scooter before you order.

FAQ
Both sizes are 47.2 inches high and 23.6 inches wide when open. The Standard is 45.2 inches long and suits most compact and mid-size scooters; the XL is 50.4 inches long for longer, full-size scooters. Mounting and receiver compatibility depends on your exact scooter, so if you are unsure call us and we will confirm the right size for your model before you order.
The Scooterpac Canopy is designed to fit a wide range of mobility scooters and the two sizes cover most models, but it is not guaranteed for every scooter. Please confirm mounting compatibility for your specific scooter with us before ordering.
The folding mechanism takes about 30 seconds either way. To open, release the stretch cover and swing the frame up and over the seat until the windscreen sits in front of the tiller; to fold, reverse the motion so the canopy rests behind the seat in its cover. Our installation and review video on this page shows the whole sequence.
Scooterpac specifies a maximum wind speed of 40 mph for the canopy. In stronger winds, fold the canopy back behind the seat.
The frame is powder-coated aircraft-grade aluminium, the cover is waterproof nylon with metal zips on the doors and roof, and the front windscreen is shatter-resistant Perspex. The Standard weighs 12 kg (about 26.5 lb) and the XL 13 kg (about 28.7 lb).
Most products ship fully assembled or require minimal assembly. Some larger items (lift chairs, hospital beds) are delivered ready to use with White Glove delivery. Contact us if you have questions about a specific product.
Return eligibility depends on the product. Several categories — including lift chairs, power chairs (if used), mobility scooters (unless otherwise stated), patient lifts, replacement parts & batteries, and certain personal-care items — are generally non-returnable once shipped, and eligible returns may carry restocking and freight charges. Please call us before ordering and we'll make sure you get the right product the first time.
