Compact Design for Narrow Stairways
One of the biggest advantages of the Harmar SL300 Pinnacle is how little space it takes up when it's not being used.
The chair, arms, and footrest fold to help keep the staircase open for other members of the household. When folded, the SL300 measures only 11 inches from the wall. Its rail mounts approximately 1 inch from the wall and stands just 3 inches tall, creating a clean, low-profile installation.
This makes the SL300 an excellent option when preserving usable staircase width is important.
Works During a Power Outage
The Pinnacle SL300 uses an efficient motor and battery-powered drive system that allows the stair lift to continue operating if your home's electricity goes out.
According to Harmar, the SL300 can provide up to 60 up-and-down cycles on its batteries during a power outage, giving you continued access between floors when household power is unavailable.
Clean, Lubrication-Free Drive System
Nobody wants grease along the side of their staircase.
The Pinnacle's patented drive system uses a nylon polymer gear rack and helical worm gear, eliminating the need to grease or lubricate the gear rack. This helps provide clean operation around your stairs, clothing, children, and pets.
Designed for Comfortable Everyday Use
The SL300 includes a 16.5" wide x 15" deep seat along with an oversized 12⅝" x 14¹¹⁄₁₆" footrest.
An ergonomic control switch helps make the stair lift easier to operate for people with arthritis or limited hand dexterity. At the upper landing, the seat swivels approximately 85 degrees, allowing the user to get on and off while facing away from the staircase.
Call/Send Remote Controls
Two remote controls are included with the Pinnacle SL300.
These allow you to call or send the stair lift from either end of the staircase, which is particularly useful when more than one person uses the lift or the chair has been left on the opposite floor.
Optional Folding Rail
If the bottom of your staircase ends near a hallway, doorway, or other high-traffic area, an optional folding rail can help keep the lower landing clear.
The SL300 is available with an automatic folding rail, which moves without requiring the user to stop the stair lift or operate additional switches. A folding rail can help eliminate an exposed section of track at the bottom of the staircase when the lift isn't being used.
