Troubleshooting Tips (Very Useful):
Your note at the end is excellent advice:
- Locate the motor (usually under the chair).
- Unplug the hand control cord from the lead wire and plug the remote directly into the motor.
- Test the buttons.
- If the chair works → The lead wire cord (extension between remote and motor) is faulty and needs replacement.
- If it still doesn’t work → The remote itself or the motor may be the issue.
Common Issues:
- Worn or broken 5-prong connector
- Damaged lead wire (very common)
- Weak batteries or USB charging problems on newer remotes
- Motor failure (less common)
Note: This remote will not work on:
- MaxiComfort / Zero Gravity models (e.g., PR505, PR510, PR535, etc.)
- 2-motor, 4-zone, or 5-zone Comfort Zone chairs
- Models with power headrest, lumbar, or tilt functions
