Overview
If you own a Pride Mobility Baja Bandit, it comes standard with solid tires. Solid tires are maintenance-free, so you never have to worry about flats, making them a reliable choice. However, because they don't contain air, they provide a firmer ride, even with the Baja Bandit's excellent front and rear suspension system and suspension seat.
If you're looking for a smoother, more comfortable ride, you can convert your Baja Bandit to pneumatic (air-filled) tires. To complete the conversion, you will need to purchase both the tire and the inner tube:

Inner Tube (F1) – 2.5 x 9 with 90-degree valve stem

Once you've converted to pneumatic tires, future maintenance is simple. If you get a flat, you'll typically only need to replace the inner tube, not the tire itself, provided the tire is still in good condition.
At this time, Pride Mobility does not offer the Baja Bandit with factory-installed pneumatic tires, so this is an aftermarket conversion. We also recommend keeping your original solid tires as a backup. If you ever experience a puncture or blowout with the pneumatic tires, you can quickly switch back to the solid tires and keep riding.
