With a wheelbase for scooters between 30" and 42" there are no scooter modifications needed. The Harmar AL160 has an automatic hold-down foot that secures your scooter automatically with a push of button. The AL160 can also hold larger power scooters with a max lifting weight capacity up to 350 pounds.

The Harmar AL160 is very easy to install. All you need is class II or III hitch installed by a local hitch installer. The Harmar AL160 can be purchased with different hitch adapters. Choosing the correct hitch adapter depends on the vehicle's hitch receiver distance to the ground. The standard hitch adapter is 6"-18". The Drop Hitch Adaptor comes in 2"( 18-20"), 5"(20"-23"), 6"(20-24") or 8"(24-26"). Every online vehicle lift purchase will have a follow up phone call to ensure that you chose the right hitch adapter.
