Golden Technologies Okin Control Box

Tools needed: Wire cutters, replacement zip ties, and a chair stand.

1. Unplug the transformer from the wall outlet.

2. Gently push the chair onto the footrest, turn it upside down, or 

gently lean it onto its side, away from the hand control.

3. Disconnect the motor(s), hand control extension, and battery backup 

from the control box.

4. Cut the wire ties that secure the control box to the lift frame and 

remove it.

5. Use wire ties to attach the new control box to the lift frame.

6. Plug the motor(s), hand control extension, and battery backup 

into the new control box.

7. Carefully reposition the chair upright.

8. Plug the transformer into the wall outlet and test it.
